My name is Matt Barlow and I’m a personal trainer at Concourse Athletic Club in Sandy Springs, GA. My passion for fitness first started to truly develop when I enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves back in 2007. During my time in the Marines, I enrolled at Kennesaw State University and reinforced my passion for fitness by completing the Bachelor’s of Exercise Science program. I have always loved pushing myself both physically and mentally through exercise and it has had a profoundly beneficial effect on my life. My goal now is to share that feeling by coaching, teaching, and motivating others how to exercise properly. I want to share my experience with others so that they can gain all of the benefits of exercise while also teaching them to avoid mistakes I’ve made along the way. My goal is also to push people beyond what they think their body can do, to make people confident enough to handle any movement or task injury-free, and to improve their quality of life.
